Will Russack is an artist currently living in Snoqualmie, Washington. He received his B.S in Environmental Studies from Tufts University, and his B.F.A in Photography from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Drawing on this cross-disciplinary approach, Will’s photographs address mankind’s relationship with the natural world. He brings attention to the ways in which we attempt to balance our urge to be close to nature with our impulse to control it. His diverse interests also include investigating how digital technology and the internet are changing how we view images, as well as the evolving function of the internet as archive. Will has exhibited at Abigail Ogilvy Gallery in Boston, the Arena1 Gallery in Santa Monica, and the Photographic Center Northwest in Seattle. He recently self-published a guidebook to the Middle Fork Snoqualmie Valley.
